Note for foreigners

The AUTITV - Associação para a Universidade da Terceira Idade de Torres Vedras - is a NPO founded on June 4, 2003.

The AUTITV strives to offer a diversified group of activities. In addition to the theoretical and practical sessions held in the classroom, the following activities are developed:

- Field trips, excursions, national and international tours;

- Seminars, lectures and workshops;

- Exhibitions and contests;

- Thematic celebrations;

- Gatherings;

- Joint activities with similar institutions;

- Joint activities with local government institutions;

- Solidarity events;

These activities are the result of the voluntary work of the AUTITV partners (managers, teachers, students and other collaborators).
